REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong practical knowledge of routing protocols: deep understanding of BGP or expert-level OSPF / IS-IS
  • Experience with multiple protocols and IPv6 is a strong plus
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP stack and low-level TCP mechanics
  • Solid hands-on experience with Junos (Juniper) — mandatory
  • Experience with at least one additional vendor is highly desirable
  • Linux networking configuration
  • Basic automation skills using Python and Bash
  • English — Intermediate 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and deployment of fault-tolerant networking solutions for global high-load platforms
  • Support and maintenance of existing infrastructure
  • Proactive system improvement and optimization
  • Strict operational discipline and downtime minimization
  • Monitoring data analysis and proactive network management
  • Close collaboration with the DevOps (Linux) team and core application developers
