REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years as a Graphic/Web Designer (agency, in-house, or product marketing)
- Expert in Figma; strong in Adobe CC (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign)
- An online portfolio showing systems thinking, typography, responsive web, and campaign work
- Solid grasp of web handoff, grid systems, and accessibility
- Clear communication, feedback chops, and deadline reliability
WILL BE A PLUS:
- Understanding of Print / Media & Advertising / Publishing / News / IT ecosystems
- Motion (After Effects/Premier Pro) is a plus
- HTML/CSS basics helpful
- Prepare assets for reuse in Canva
- Knowledge of task management tools such as JIRA, Asana, etc
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain brand guidelines and UI kits; evolve typography, color, and component libraries
- Produce marketing creative: logos, social/paid ads, display, email graphics, pitch decks, mediakits, event/conference booths, print on demand items and media kits
- Translate briefs into concepts, storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Design responsive pages and deliver dev-ready specs in Figma (constraints, tokens, assets)
- Maintain brand guidelines and UI kits; evolve typography, color, and component libraries
- QA across browsers/devices; partner with developers to ship pixel-perfect designs
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, focus states, alt text) and performance-friendly assets
HOW WE’LL MEASURE SUCCESS (FIRST 90 DAYS):
- 30 days: audit: Brand, site, campaigns. Workflow & SLA: Agree brief template, review cadence, and SLAs (e.g., 48h for small requests, 5—7d for pages). Produce first 3–5 marketing assets (paid/social/email) and 1 minor web improvement
- 60 days: Modular templates for ads, email, landing hero; motion snippets for 2 use cases. Ship 1 high-impact landing page (A/B ready) with clear success metric
- 90 days: Design system: Core tokens + 6–10 reusable components; adoption started across 1–2 teams, document patterns. Clear roadmap for next quarter. Close >60% of audit items; document patterns and examples
