REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in Windows administration (10-11): system installation, office suite management, BitLocker configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu): system installation, additional package installation, disk encryption
- Microsoft 365 services administration: experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, handling enterprise applications, implementing OAuth2 for company resources, managing Exchange users, redirections, and redirect rules, troubleshooting mail delivery and phishing issues, and managing Microsoft Teams with global policies
- Proficiency in Hyper-V virtualization: creating and maintaining virtual machines for both Windows and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with RDP, SSH, TeamViewer, and AnyDesk for remote administration
- Strong networking knowledge: ability to subnet networks, understand network and broadcast addresses, troubleshoot network issues, manage switches and patch panels, connect ports in patch panels, and work with network equipment (routers, switches)
- Expertise in Cisco: internet setup, dual provider failover, VLAN configuration, port forwarding (NAT), and configuration troubleshooting. CCNA certification is a plus
- Expertise in Mikrotik: internet setup, networking, firewall management, dual provider failover, VLANs, port forwarding (NAT), and configuration troubleshooting. MTCNA certification is a plus
- Experience with Ubiquiti equipment: controller administration, adding new access points, and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks
- Jira Cloud administration: managing users, groups, and projects, working with permission schemas
- Work with BAF: creating financial plans and coordinating hardware purchases with the team
- Experience with Google Workspace: adding users and configuring redirections
WILL BE A PLUS:
- Experience with Grafana and GitLab, including granting user permissions
- Knowledge of OpenVPN server setup and configuration on Ubuntu
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management
- Coordinate the sysadmin team: assign tasks, monitor deadlines, and ensure project delivery
- Conduct training sessions and mentor team members to enhance their skills
- Participate in hiring new team members and assess their technical competencies
Financial Planning
- Develop budgets for hardware and software procurement
- Collaborate with the team to assess technical resource needs
System Administration
- Install, configure, and update Windows (10-11) and Linux (Ubuntu) operating systems on servers and workstations
- Manage data encryption: configure BitLocker for Windows and equivalent tools for Linux
- Troubleshoot system issues, including log analysis and performance optimization
- Ensure the stable operation of office suites and essential software
Virtualization
- Deploy and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V for both Windows and Linux environments
- Monitor and optimize resource usage in virtualized environments for efficiency
- Configure backup and recovery processes for virtual machines
Remote Administration
- Set up secure remote access using RDP, SSH, TeamViewer, or AnyDesk
- Configure and maintain VPN connections for remote team operations
- Ensure the security of remote sessions and protect against unauthorized access
Network Administration
- Design network infrastructure: create subnets, configure VLANs, and manage routing
- Administer network equipment (Cisco, Mikrotik): configure routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement network redundancy with dual provider setups (failover)
- Configure Wi-Fi networks (Ubiquiti): deploy access points, manage controllers, and troubleshoot issues
- Diagnose and resolve network problems, including port patching and switch management
Cloud Services
- Administer Microsoft 365: manage users in Azure AD/Entra ID, configure OAuth2, and support Exchange and Teams
- Manage Google Workspace: add users and configure email forwarding
- Administer Jira Cloud: create groups, manage access permissions, and support workflows
Security
- Implement security policies: enforce data encryption, access controls, and protection against external threats
- Configure monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix or Prometheus) to track infrastructure health
- Respond to security incidents and analyze their root causes
Automation (Preferred)
- Automate routine tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell) or tools like Ansible.
Additional Responsibilities (Advantage)
- Configure OpenVPN servers for secure access
- Administer GitLab: manage projects and user permissions
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy services
